Jeanne Wanzek, Ph.D. is a research assistant at the Vaughn Gross Center for Reading and Language Arts, University of Texas at Austin. She is a former special education teacher and elementary teacher.

 Currently, she is coordinating research on the 3-Tier Model with K-3 teachers. Dr. Wanzek's research interests include effective instructional design and beginning reading instruction.
