Special Education PTA of South River, NJ
Bill Sellar of South River, N.J. has been involved in special education for the last ten years. He was a founding member of the Special Education PTA of South River, and went on to serve as its President for four years. As its president he began talks with leaders of other special education parent groups, which lead to the formation of the Special Education Leadership Council. In 2003 he was appointed Special Education Chairmen for the New Jersey PTA and was recently named to represent the NJPTA on the New Jersey Special Education Review Commission.
Because of his involvement in special education with the Special Education Leadership Council Bill was appointed to the State's Special Education Advisory Council. Recently Bill was named to a Parent advisory panel for the National Center for Learning Disabilities. Bill received his B.S. in Management and an MBA from Rutgers University. He has worked for several companies as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. Currently Bill is a stay-at-home father and a part-time child advocate. He is the father of a child with a disability.
