Dr. Nancy C. Jordan is a Professor in the School of Education at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware (USA). Dr. Jordan completed her doctoral work in Education at Harvard University and completed a post doctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Jordan taught children with learning disabilities. Since 1999, her research project on children's mathematics has been funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Her studies have been published in Child Development, the Journal of Educational Psychology, the Journal of Learning Disabilities, and the Journal of Experimental Child Psychology. Dr. Jordan's most recent work is concerned with kindergarten predictors of math difficulties in primary school.
